Easy Homemade Mayo Recipe

- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
- 1 cup neutral-flavored oil like Avocado never olive oil
- ΒΌ tsp salt and pepper to taste
Combine the Ingredients: Using a tall, narrow container (like a jar) combine all of the ingredients together.
Emulsify: Using your immersion blender, start at the bottom on low As the emulsion begins to form, you can increase the speed and slowly bring it upwards to blend in all of the oil in the jar.
Season and Serve: Once all the oil is incorporated, season the mayo with salt and pepper to taste.
